THE DIY ORIGAMI LOTUS F1 PROJECT

With Formula One packing its bags and heading away for a month’s holiday, the Lotus Formula 1 Team has given its fans a special summer project – build a Lotus E20 Formula One car.

Not a real one, of course, this one is for fans of origami – it’s all made from folded paper with the high technology limited to some glue to hold it all together.

It’s available for download from the Lotus F1 Team Facebook page and promises to keep fans happy while they wait to see if Lotus can build on their double podium finish in Hungary that ended the first half of the season and take over the championship lead in the second half of the season.<br />

Even in paper it’s still faster than a Marussia
