Australian drivers John Martin and Sam Abay both finished in the top ten in Round 15 of the British F3 Championship at the Bernie Ecclestone’s second favourite circuit Silverstone.
The race was won by pole sitter Oliver Turvey despite a slow start which left New Zealand driver Brendan Hartley in front. Turvey passed Hartley after the Kiwi had a half lose at Copse.
Third place went to Marcus Ericsson. Sergio Perez in the T-Sport Dallara was fourth ahead of Jaime Alguersuari, Martin, Max Chilton, & Abay all driving Dallara Mercedes. Nick Tandy in ninth place was the first of the Mygales.
